The famous Armenian theoretical physicist, astrophysicist Davit Sedrakyan died at the age of 80.
He was an academician of the ASSR, Doctor, Professor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
Sedrakyan’s main studies were included; the physics of neutron stars, the theory of pulsar radiation, low-temperature physics, and the theory of gravitation.
Davit Sedrakyan is the author of more than 250 scientific papers in Armenian and foreign periodicals.
He was awarded by the 1st degree Order for Services to the Homeland, Anania Shirakatsi Medal and RA NAS Gold Medal.
On December 9, Davit Sedrakyan would have turned 81 years old.
