The investigation into the Khachatryans’ case has been completed, Russia’s Investigation Committee reports.
According to the investigation, the motive of the crim was “personal dislike caused by long-lasting physical and mental suffering the father caused to his daughters, which has been considered as an extenuating circumstance.”
According to the report, in committing the patricide two sisters could have been aware of the nature – and be in control – of their actions.
The case of Angelina and Krestina has been sent to the prosecutor’s office for a bill of indictment to be issued. The youngest sister, Maria, will have to take a course of court-ordered treatment.
